Description
Targeted at the entire SMU community, Martial Mayhem is a sporting event jointly organised by six martial arts student clubs in SMU - Muaythai, Taekwondo, Aikido, Judo, Kendo and Wushu. This event seeks to promote and introduce martial arts to all, inspiring a new generation of martial artists. This student-run event also seeks to forge strong bonds between the different martial arts clubs and brings together a multitude of undergraduates from different faculties.
Martial Mayhem is a one-day event consisting of various workshops and activities, to introduce participants to the basics of each martial art, and cumulates in a Finale event that showcases the specialty of each martial art through sparring sessions and performances.
